On August 2nd & 3rd, 2024 I will be back in the Eastern Sierra Nevada Mountains of California, where I will once again be swimming to Raise MS Awareness.
My inspiration for Sierra Nevada Open Water 4MS came to me in 2014 as I stood on the deck of June Mountain ski lodge over looking the majestic blue-green waters of June and Gull Lakes. In 2021, I swam both of these lakes. This August 2024, I will be swimming the lengths of two new lakes of inspiration - Ellery Lake sitting at 9,538' elevation & Tioga Lake at 9,638' elevation. I will also be swimming the length of June Lake again with family & friends swimming along side me.
Please, support me and Sierra Nevada Open Water 4MS in my swims of Tioga Lake, Ellery Lake, & June Lake in the Eastern Sierra Nevada Mountains. - Benefitting Keck Medicine of USC - Multiple Sclerosis Care Clinic.

This year’s swim will support the inaugural MS patient forum envisioned by Dr. Lilyana Amezcua, Chief of the Multiple Sclerosis Comprehensive Care and Research Group at Keck Medicine of USC.The MS Patient Forum for patients and their loved ones at the USC Keck
School of Medicine’s Health Sciences Campus, will provide an opportunity to
learn about the latest in MS research and patient care at USC. The forum will
include an opportunity for patients and caregivers to ask questions of the
expert panel, to be comprised of USC’s MS specialists and members of the
multidisciplinary team such as physical therapy, occupational therapy and social work.
